Brand new, direct from CIVIVI Knives.
Blade: A tall, drop point profile blade is made from flat ground, 3 mm thick, polished Chinese Damascus. While the blades’ pattern is eye catching it is stout enough for heavy use while still offering good slicing performance. A nearly full length swedge along the spine tapers to a fine piercing point while a section of jimping give traction for the thumb. Caged stainless steel ball bearings in the pivot offer smooth operation and fast flipper deployment. Forward of the flipper, a full size choil provides added control and security.
Handle: Gray stainless steel liners form a solid foundation housing the blade and G10 partial back spacer. The stars of the show here are the contoured Copper Shred Shredded Carbon Fiber handle scales. Durable, lightweight and ergonomic, the handles offer both performance and style. The spacer helps protect the blade while still allowing for cleaning and maintenance. An inline pin in the back spacer allows for lanyard attachment.
Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
Chinese Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Often available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.
