The 7777 Bareknuckle Flipper was inspired by the wildly popular and highly limited 0777 model by Zero Tolerance Knives. The Bareknuckle is Made in the USA version that has been slimmed down for a low-profile foot print while still retaining the striking visual design, ergonomics and cutting performance of the original. The Bareknuckle features a KVT bearing driven flipper operation and steel sub-frame lock construction. This version has been updated with a striking Alabama Damascus blade.
Brand new, direct from Kershaw, USA.
Blade: The slimmed down profile of the Bareknuckle’s blade enhanced piercing performance that is already excellent thanks to the full length top swedge and high height saber grind. The tall saber ground edge offers a tip that is durable and sharp while providing a fine, razor like edge on striking pattern welded carbon steel Damascus blade. The blade rides out fast and smooth on KVT ball bearing pivot and has spine jimping for added traction.
Handle: Machined and contoured Grey anodized aluminum handle scales deliver a comfortable grip with lightweight and durability to boot. Kershaw’s patented Sub-Frame locking mechanism offers some of the lightest, most reliable lockup in the industry along with flawless operation and incorporates integral over-travel protection. Black Torx hardware with custom pivot and black floating back spacer round out the construction.
Carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel deep carry clip.
Alabama Damascus: A high quality, carbon steel Damascus, Alabama Damascus is typically 416 layers of 4 different types of steel including:(4) layers 5160 spring steel, (3) layers 203E low carbon high impact High nickel mild steel alloy, (3) layers 52100 ball bearing steel and (3) layers 15N20 band saw blade material. 13 layers of the 4 types of steel are then forge welded and folded 5 times to achieve 416 layers. Cutting performance will be similar to the carbon steels mentioned above. Care is required to prevent corrosion.
